Is it the beginning or the end?
I suppose no one can ever know
Yet each of us will make the journey
When it comes the time for us to go
We will take one last look behind us
And see our loved ones are looking back
With that last breath we sigh “I love you”
And then we fade slowly into black
delightful, very different take on my death poetry, under the header ‘health’ 🙂

A few lines that have great import, poignant, beautiful with a subtle nod the ‘big question’

A neat and powerful evocation of ‘the end’, Jerry. Or, as you say, ‘Is it the beginning’? Only the ‘dark’ will tell us.

Thanks Roland. I am curious to know the answer but I am in no hurry to find out.

Yes, it’s those we love who will matter to us at the very end.
