When I thing of the past these days, I tend to embellish the good memories and diminish the bad ones. I think they call that nostalgia.

I suppose, it’s the nature of humans. Or is it more psychological? Do I dwell more in the past because I have no confidence in the future?

Human nature is to value most the things we lost, I would say. I somewhere read ( I regret not remembering the author) that we give credits to the past more than it deserves.

You often have to lose something before you realise it’s worth. Childhood for example we are desperate to grow up and can’t understand how precious those years are. You can’t see the Wood for the trees sometimes. Great thought Jerry
