There’s an old Eagles song that asks, “Did she get tired or did she just get lazy?”
I think we all have to ask ourselves that question.
Are we really too tired to walk the ten steps from our car to the cart return so we don’t leave it in the parking lot to roll away? “
Are we really so tired that when we see the light change, we have to stomp on the gas to fly through the yellow doing 120 because we don’t want to wait through another light?
Are we really so tired that we can’t wash our hands after using the bathroom?
Are we really so tired that we have to eat our dinner out of a sack from the fast food place?
Are we really so tired that we can’t type out an entire sentence (lol bae)?
I’m pretty sure I can answer the questions…
But is it an excuse for not doing the right, or courteous, thing?
That cart return is particularly annoying

You’re right Derrick. I’ve heard a thousand time, “It’s job security for for the employees to have to come out and get them.” News flash folks, it’s just one more thing an already underpaid and overworked person has to do. Any expense for them to do it is passed on to the consumer.

No, we are not too tired for any of these things.

Agreed Miriam.
You have to wonder if people understand what message they are giving children by doing things like that. Thanks for stopping by my friend. Hope you have a great day.

I think the answer is definitely, “lazy!” And we need to do better.
